Fashion Downunder!

Most people would associate Fashion Week with New York, London, Paris and Milan. But I've always been interested to see how fashion week is like in different parts of the world. Lets take Australia, since I'll be going there very soon for work purposes, it's the first country I'm thinking of right now!

I'm absolutely mesmerised by the first photo, Alex Perry's designs are stunNING! I'm also loving the dresses by Alice McCall, the cutting on each dress is gorgeous. Not forgetting Bec + Bridge, this collection caught my eye with their bright pops of colour, and graphic prints.

Flowing fabric is present in all three collections. Something that definitely suits the Australian weather.

Stella McCartney returns to London Fashion Week

Happy 'belated' New Year all! Better late than never, I hope all your wishes comes true in 2012.

This year is definitely the year for London; Stella McCartney is making a return to London Fashion Week in February! Confirmed in November, the British-born designer is to show at London Fashion Week for the first time.

This will be a one-off collection presented on the evening of February 18th. However, the designer will still be presenting her Winter 2012 collection in Paris on March 5th, as scheduled.

The designer's special one-off collection will be available from May 2012 through her retail stores worldwide, and online.

Merry Christmas Fashionistas...

...Hope you guys are having a fantastic Christmas. Eating loads of fattening and unhealthy food, in other words, great stuff! Plus receiving truck loads of presents, all spent with your loved ones.
Just remember to not wear jeans, as Joey from 'Friends' says (with perfect sense) "jeans are no giving"!

Apologies for the blurry picture; unfortunately this year there's no space for this Christmas tree so we have NO decorations in the house, which has left me with no choice but to dig out this old picture from a few years ago! :(

Santa please...

This is the first year that I actually forgot about Christmas! Well, not exactly forgotten about it completely, but the fact that it's only a week away yet it still feels like September. I blame the mild winter, yeah, trust a Brit to talk about the weather!

Anyhow, Christmas cannot go by without an unrealistic wish list, so here's mine...

15" Apple Macbook Pro; from £1549

Stripe Faux Fur Coat; £90 ASOS

Tailored fit with Faux Fur Collar Coat; £100 ASOS

Winter coats always makes me look all puffy and short; the tailored one from Asos is perfect to avoid that post-dinner look. They have it in Red too, which I love.

Chanel Large Flap Bag; £1200

A Chanel bag is on my list every year; it's hard to buy this without feeling sorry for my bank manager!

Tiffany & Co. Legacy Platinum Earrings; £6975

Chandelier style earrings are a must-have; only problem is, I can't find one that has a good price tag and is real. I've had enough of wearing fashion earrings that give me rashes!

Now I did say it's an 'unrealistic' wish list; what's on yours?
