Top Model of the day...Nicole Fox

Friday, 21 May 2010

A few months ago, America's Next Top Model Nicole Fox had me on the edge of my seat, flapping my arms around when I was watching it! Finally, she won!
ANTM always has me glued to the screen with the gorgeous fashion, amazing photography and the oh so cute Nigel Barker! Hehe! xoxo

Absolutely GORGeous!! Love love LOVE the designs from Elena Antoniades. Silk and satin prints are her trademark looks. Some of her fabrics are finished with thousands of crystals! Just can say I'm in love again...finally! xoxo

Festival Chic

Sunday, 16 May 2010
Although it's hard to believe, but it's true that summer is actually around the corner! Which means get ready for the festival season...T4 on the Beach, Glastonbury, The V Festival to name a few. It's a time where high maintenance people don't stand a chance! Mud, rain, dirt...maybe some sun if you're lucky, but we're in the UK so that's enough said!

Having said that, festivals can be a lot of fun. Especially if the guy you've been lusting after has finally asked you to go with him! So, here are some essential things you can't forget to pack...

Bourjois Blusher
To give your face a little perk, a good blusher is a must! You won't be wearing much make up (probably can't be bothered to), but unless you're really that brave to go bare-faced, I'd recommend a sweep of this across your cheeks. This is my current favourite.

My staple wear: bright lips! Since you won't be wearing much make up, why not do up your lips instead! You know which brand I'm going to be recommending...Revlon! Well, I'm not being biased, but you do need something that is everything proof for up to 12hrs!

Simple Facial Wipes
I religiously take my make up off every night; in NO circumstance should you girls sleep with your make up on! So so SO will regret it in about 6 - 8 weeks time when that blemish appears! It does take that long for it to be visible, so take no chances! I think these wipes are the best.

Nivea Visage Tinted Moisturiser
We don't want to be slapping on the foundation in a squashed tent, with a tiny compact mirror. So, tinted moisturiser comes to the rescue! I'm currently using this one from Nivea Visage for Young Skin, gives you a skin-kissed look without the heavy feeling of foundation.

Hunter & Jimmy Choo Wellingtons
As I mentioned earlier, a combination of rain and grass = dirt! These babies look gorgeous and will keep you mud free, but thinking about it since it's Jimmy Choo...I don't think you actually want to get them dirty! Lets just stick to the original Hunter Wellies!

Sun Glasses
No need to explain, we're in Britain...rain and sun is standard! H&M has a great selection of over-sized shades that also protect your eyes too! Most of mine are from them.

Lastly, anti-perspirant: This is an obvious thing! You'll be doing a lot of "throwing your hands in air, like you just don't care"! So, be sure to pack a decent one.

That's all for now, I'm sure I'm missing things but this post is taking me ages to finish!
Hope you all have fun, whether you're going with friends or with a gorgeous date! xoxo

Oh my GOD! That's what I kept saying when I saw these babies!
Shoe Designer Georgina Goodman has some fantastic designs. So gorgeous, it kind of makes you look at it and think...can I actually wear them or are they art?! Sadly at around £500 a pair, I probably can only afford about half a heel!!

Best beauty buy!

Sunday, 9 May 2010

This is the first time in history have I EVER finished a lip gloss! In fact, any lip product! I couldn't find any lipstick, balm or gloss that worked so well I finished it! It took me about 6 months to finish this one, as I've mentioned earlier on my blog this one's a keeper!
I've just bought the Revlon Matte Lipstick in "really red", I'll be testing this out and see whether this is just as good as its sister!

Cindy's Secret...

Saturday, 8 May 2010

You go into Victoria's Secret and you expect to come out with some gorgeous underwear, but I somehow came out with this little beauty instead! I can't even remember which city I got this from! LA or LV? Maybe it was Sacramento, whatever! It was in America anyway!
So far, it's pretty good. Stays on, nice colour, cute packaging = good for me!

Fashion Designer Joseph Altuzarra

Tuesday, 4 May 2010
Another one of my favorite designers is Joesph Altuzarra. Alongside Prabal Gurung, who was featured in my blog previously, he's seen as one of the "next generation" of young designers.
He has one hell of a CV; He's been an intern at Marc Jacobs Designs, and former assistant to New York’s premier modéliste Nicolas Caito!

A man that knows how to make a women feel gorgeous! Check out some of his designs...
