Clothes Show London...Part 1

Sunday, 27 June 2010
549...that's the number of pictures that were taken at the Clothes Show by me! I was just clicking away until the battery died! So lucky, it was just as the show finished though! The show was fantastic! Dancers as well as models were involved, the whole vibe was brilliant! So, here they are...not all of them obviously!
I wish I wore this outfit to the show, instead I opted for a sheer nude blouse with shorts. Do I regret that or what! It was soooo hot, see-through blouse or not, I was sweating! Very not glam!

Leopard print over-sized tank top, H&M; mini skirt, New Look. Platinum pass tickets - access all areas!

The show kicked off with a Chinese-themed dance performance.

2nd theme was street-style

Then follows New York style

More pictures to come from the show and The Style Awards...

I'll never be 24 again...

Wednesday, 16 June 2010
Ok, this has nothing to do with fashion or beauty but it's suppose to be an important day of the year, so I thought I'd share this...

...this is the closest I'll get to having a birthday cake! Desert cakes my mum got me, hahaha! Well, better than nothing, plus I LOVE cheesecake so it'll do! xoxo
Sorry for the rubbish pics, taken from my Blackberry.

The new generation of Designers are born...

Tuesday, 15 June 2010

It was Graduate Fashion Week last week, it did take me by surprise in a way. The students from South-East Asia really impressed me. The Japanese has recognition in the fashion world we all know that, but now the Chinese and Koreans have gained a positive reception.
Yi Fang Wan, Chinese born designer at the BA show won the L’Oréal Professionnel prize award.
At MA level you have Rok Hwang who has been hired to work at Céline, and Jung Sun Lee's designs have been snapped up by Harrods, which we'll have to wait until autumn to buy!
Maybe in a couple of years it won't just be in America where you'll hear 'Chinese sounding' names like Jason Wu, Alexander Wang, Derek Lam etc. We'll have the British versions!

Summer Essentials

Tuesday, 1 June 2010
I've been going a bit crazy with shopping recently! Comfort eating for some, I do comfort shopping! Had to check out the Topshop make up range, such cute packaging. Picked up this lipstick in 'Dare devil' shade. Good so far, doesn't last as long as my favourite Revlon lipstick, but I would still give it 4 out of 5!
Only some of the pieces I got here...

Bag: New Look over-sized clutch purse
