Osman Yousefzada at London Fashion Week

Monday, 27 September 2010
Osman's Collection compromises patent leather, brown linen, tailored ready-to-wear pieces. Very sophisticated, the simplicity trend for A/W 2010 seems to stick around for another season.
I remember seeing flashes of colour down one side of tailored dresses. The whole collection was very wearable I loved the dresses; V-neck, one-off shoulder or trapeze, they're all appealing.
Do beware with over doing it on the accessories when wearing designs this clean and straight though, the whole point is to keep it simple. I'm sure to be sporting this trend, as it's just so get-up-and-go, perfect for me!

There was drama trying to get into the shows, a lot of people were turned away. Managed to get in which was good enough, but not able to take pictures at the position I was in!

From the Catwalk...Maria Grachvogel

Thursday, 23 September 2010
Maria Grachvogel showcased her S/S 2011 collection at day one of London Fashion Week. After watching the show I felt somewhat, relaxed. The calm music and flowing fabrics makes you feel like you're by a river in the middle of nowhere.
The whole collection is fresh, chic, simple and enhances the beauty of the fabrics. Maria's approach is to create truly desirable clothes...that hasn't failed at all. There were a combination of slouchy pocket shorts, silk chiffon tops, drapery blazer and vivid print catsuits. Her signature seam free magic trousers obviously wasn't missing from all of this. As usual, every item in her collection is cleverly and beautifully cut.
I tried to take as many photos possible, but sitting in second row (with someone tall in front of me) meant it was impossible to get a lot of perfect shots!

London Fashion Week...Photo Diary

Sunday, 19 September 2010
Three days of attending London Fashion Week and I'm worn out...how do people do it for the full 6 days! Still 3 days left of the most important event of the year, but I must say I've seen a lot in the past few days.
Crazy outfits, gorgeous catwalk shows, meeting lovely designers and seeing photographers tripping over each other to get a good shot of...well, anything fashion! I took the most pictures on day 1 and 2, but day 3 was all about observing and writing. I've grabbed a few lookbooks of some designers which caught my attention, it'll take me a few days to gather all the information before posting about it, so do come back here for more...or follow my site to get the latest info!
Here are some random photos I took during the event, click on any photo to enlarge...enjoy!

Fashion Designer Special Part 2...Osman Yousefzada

Thursday, 16 September 2010
Fashion designer Osman Yousefzada's collection 'Osman' will be showcasing at London Fashion Week on Saturday 18th. I'm really excited to be invited.
The clever cutting and draping techniques he uses on his designs can hide a multitude of flaws. His collection is loved by a lot of people including Danni Minogue, Anna Friel and also Sarah Brown. Here are a few designs from his A/W 2010 collection...
