Belle Sauvage AW11 collection

Wednesday, 23 February 2011
Held at the old sorting office on New Oxford Street; walking into this dark underground-feel venue, I was lucky I didn't trip and fall whilst looking for my seat!

Opening the show we saw a huge Chanel-esque leather hat. The duo designers, Virginia Ferreira and Christian Neuman sure made a statement.

The collection had eye-catching prints...vivid prints and graphics. Lots of leather, cut-out panels, contemporary shoulder pads and above-the-knee dresses.
However, for a ready-to-wear collection I couldn't see myself wearing many pieces, there were only a few. Unless of course, you're Lady Gaga or Madonna!
Nonetheless, it was gorgeous to watch, spotted on front row was singer Diana Vickers.

A dramatic outfit to close the show
