I've become slightly obsessed with the maxi dress this season. I remember seeing these dresses floating around (not literally, freaky if it was) a few years ago, and at the time I didn't think it was a good idea for me to be seen in one of those. Purely because I don't have Gisele's legs!
Fast forward to 2009 I gave in, I bought my first maxi dress. Although, even then I'd only wore it once. But now things have changed, one of my new years resolution (yes, I'm still trying to stick to that) was to wear more clothes from my wardrobe. I probably make use of about only 7% of my wardrobe...not good.
So, what's not to love about this trend? Feminine, romantic and comfy. Plus, you don't have to worry about tanning your legs. Now that's very important (for me)!
I just bought another one from H&M, so I'm converted. What is your take on the maxi dress?

I do love maxi dresses, but now EVERYONE is wearing them, and I'm not sure if I want to buy into that- too late to jump on the bandwagon? Plus I'm a bit short! But I love the pictures you posted!
